Volunteer Information

Why Volunteer?

Mission Trails Little League is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that is 100% organized and operated by volunteers. The success of the league is dependent on the people like you to volunteer your time, energy, and expertise. Plus, it's a fun and rewarding experience, where you can help the youth in our community develop character, discipline, and teamwork through Little League baseball.

Who Can Volunteer?

Anyone can apply to become a volunteer: parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles, retirees, community leaders, former Little Leaguers, friends, neighbors, and more. Whatever talents or skills you have, and no matter how much or how little time you have to give, we'd be glad to have your help!

What Can I Volunteer To Do?

We have volunteer opportunities for every area of the league operations: manager/coach, team parent, league board of director, field maintenance, scorekeeper, umpire, special events organizer, snack bar attendant, etc. Whatever talents or skills you have, we can use them!

How Do I Become A Volunteer?

Because the wellbeing of our players is our highest priority, the first step for becoming a volunteer in our league is to submit your information for a formal background check through JDP. To initiate the background check process, please send your name and preferred email address to safety@missiontrailsll.com. You will receive an emailed link from JDP to submit the information required to complete the background check. Once cleared, a member of the league board of directors will be in contact regarding where you can best help the league.
